The knife has a tortoiseshell handle. The handle is carved out and has a silver oblong plate to the centre of the piece surrounded by silver pique work.

There is an engraved silver spine along the edge of the piece.

Single Quill Blade which is stamped with the makers mark of COX.

The knife dates to around 1810.

Length open is 4.5 inches.

Condition:  There is no spring to the blade, and part of the back spine is missing.
