The knife has a tortoiseshell handle. It has a silver cap at the top and bottom of the handle and is inset with silver oval shields on both sides. There is an inscription to the reverse of the blade “A Jackson”. The piece is Hallmarked for c1790. Length open is 5.35 inches. Condition:  Good.
